1963 Dodge Polara

its a thingy on the fender

SOLD SOLD SOLD!
Car is likely still for sale, but is now located in Idaho at "A-LOT-OF-CARS" (208)365-5050 Ask for Ron

Extremely straight body. This is the cars original paint...nothing hiding here.
Car is fitted with a 1972 440, 727 and a 3.23, 489 case, sure grip. Good running motor. Strong sure grip. Car runs and drives . Electronic ignition with orange box.
The car is missing the Vin on the door jamb, the previous owner said he thinks it was removed by the wrecking yard that the car sat in back in the 70's. Who knows? The car did go through Washington State Sherrif inspection, there was no probs and has a clear Washington state title, in my name. Car also has "Collector car plates" from Washington state, and the car never needs to be registered again in the state of Washington, the collector status is good forever...until they change the law anyway.

I have the build sheet for the car as well.
Tranny mount is drilled to fit the newer style 727. It works, but Schumacher(www.engine-swaps.com) makes a mount for this conversion, so it could use one of those. Tranny is cable shifted with a Hurst Ratchet shifter, the shifter is not mounted yet because I didnt want to drill holes through the new carpet.
Stock exhaust manifolds with dual pipes that dump down before the rear axle
Arf, Arf Bark, growl..

Replaced the floors from a donor 4 door that I located.
I cut the rusty parts of the floor out which was mostly the rear floor pans and laid patches over the holes from the donor car. New carpet kit from Auto Custom Carpets

Front end has new upper and lower ball joints, and A-arm bushings. Disc brakes installed from a later A-body. Rear-end is "newer" style from a 1965 Coronet.

The radiator support was cut at the top to make ease of dropping motors in and out as the car was heading for the drag strip. I have the piece that was cut and it can be welded back up.

A great car to cruise or go drag racing.

Some more pics:

What the car needs now, is minor body work and paint
Needs a front end alignment, although its drivable now, Needs interior work, a new front seat and a headliner, and the door panels are rough.
Car is drivabe I have driven it around quite a bit.
Amazing at how much looks this car gets just driving it to the gas station... I guess theres just none around anymore.

Thanks for reading...God Bless you and Keep on Moparin' I would also like to thank Gary from 1962 to 1965 Mopars for all his help!
