Camaraderie and friendships are a big part of the Spring Festival of LXs and that’s what keeps bringing people like Dave McIntosh (left) and Tina and Rick Livengood coming back.
“What better place is there to be with your Mopars and like-minded people,” said Dave, who lives in Glendale, Calif. He owns the #2 2011 Dodge Challenger 392 Inaugural Edition. This is his fifth year at the Spring Fest, and he met the Livengoods last year when they first attended the show.
“We met a bunch of great people [last year] and wanted to come back again,” said Tina. She and her husband drove to Spring Fest from Portland, Ore., in their 2010 Detonator Yellow Dodge Challenger SRT8.
Dave is president of the Dodge Challenger Fan Club of Southern California and said he tells the members to make sure they thank all the Dodge Charger and Magnum and Chrysler 300 owners.
“They did the R&D work and we have them to thank for nearly all the mods available today,” he explained.
